Today I’m announcing the opening of my new comedy newsletter:
HELIUM VOICES
As for Cartoons
Oh boy. Once I release the fly, there’s no telling what will happen. She's my bane, my brainchild, my Izi.
As for Remote Control
This continues to be a showcase for essays, film and music review, and short stories but not for much longer because Remote will be the place where I release my first Substack serialized novel.
Lastly, I have to report that the Open Rates according to the Substack metric system have been lower than usual in the last few weeks. I guess people are not opening the email notifications. I get it. Not everyone goes into their emails, and some people probably delete them unopened and hopefully just make a mental note to go find the post on the platform. I would ask you not to do that, because Substack has a stack ranking system that goes by how many times you open my emails. If you are a Substack writer, have you had any luck with this? How did you fix it??
Anyway, that’s all for now. Be well. Be kind.
See you soon.
Thanks as always for your continuing support!!
Muah!!
Thanks, Rob...the ranking here is constant. It's the only thing I don't like about SS. I mean, I'm not that interested in knowing how my hamster wheel stacks against any other!
C'mon gals 'n guys.
Listen-up to Camila's call out.
One side of the see-saw is "This means fuck-all visibility on the platform."
To which the glaringly obvious, to me that is, next question must surely be: "What the fuck can be done to up Camila's visibility on 'The Platform'?
You gals 'n guys are amongst the most inventively creative on this, our yet Blue Planet. Come on, bring out your stratagems to buck-up but definitely avoid fucking-up Camila's ratings in the Statistically Driven Realm aka Substakerdom!
I, necessarily, will not comment -for simple conflict of interest - further in this thread but if you enjoyed - as much as I have - Camila's genially provocative posts lets get with the full-on "Ra, Ra, RAA!"
